You could argue Joxer's appearence as the Hanged Man is still apropriate. Gabrielle has sacrificed much, her daughter and her friendship, and the Hanged Man is all about sacrifice. But he is also about finding a way out a difficult situation by finding a new perspective, like Illusia.
