Vendel and Vesten are not the enemies they used to be, but bad blood still runs between them. Bron was born the child of two worlds. His runic gifts were noticed at an early age and his father was quick to use his skills to make money. The Vendel keep the old ways alive out of choice these days because of the market value runic items have in the modern age.

As Bron learnt more about runes and his old heritage he began to feel uncomfortable about selling his talents to the Vendel. Finally after a loud and passionate argument with his father he left home to live with the Vesten and learn their true ways. They welcomed him like a prodigal son and were happy to train him.

From them Bron learnt much but found he missed the comforts of Vendel life. The pace was too slow among the Vesten, and their insular lifestyle was boring compared to a more cosmopolitan upbringing. When Bron had learnt enough from them he left to travel and seek out your place in the world.

Bron has wandered the length of Théah, and met hundreds of people. He is a student of life, making a living selling travel writing to various magazines. More for the extra air miles, but later for the support and research, he joined the Explorer's society. They introduced him to the Syrneth and incredible ancient technology. Bron became facinated and began to work for them as he travelled. He also met Father Alfonso, a castillian missionary who became his travelling companion. Alfredo shared Bron's interest in the ancient and arcane and they both spent hours talking in motels and hotel bars. Gradually they came to confide in each other their secret society interests. Alfredo is a member of the order called ‘Die Kreuzritter’. They protect the world from dark things that lurk beyond a barrier. Alfredo has not told Bron everything, but enough for him to know his goals are worth helping him with.

Bron's Introduction to the Adventure

Alfredo has asked you to join him on an important mission, and you have agreed. He thinks your arcane lore will be of great use, as he wants to assault the laboratory of possible alien infestation. He has got together a group to do any fighting, so you should be safe, even though you can look after yourself. You all meet in a small cafe to plan the assault.
