The third campaign brings to Freiburg, on the run after their exploits in Montaigne. The campaign is named after Axel's tendancy to gaze into the middle distance and sigh 'Ah, Freiburg'. After a visit home I made sure he had a different view of the city. This campaign follows the adventures laid out in the Hammer and Tongs adventures in the Freiburg boxed set. Needless to say, they didn't follow the adventure quite as expected, and a few side issues got into the mix as well.
I
am a rather useless GM for keeping proper notes, so creating a cohesive list
of the group's adventures has been troublesome at best. So after much debate
with the group I've divided the story into several chapters as listed below.
Click on the name of the chapter for a more detailed account of what happened,
and check out the journals for what the characters think happened! Finally,
click on the GM's notes button to find out the origin of the adventure and what
was really going on, as well as detail on any published adventures that got
used.
‘An Eye for an Eye’ |
Eager to know the fate of Pietro after the sinking of Caligari island, the group return to Dionna. There they find their lost freind, but cross Giovanni Villanova.

Arriving in Charouse the group become involved in a plot against Anne Du Montaigne. Their actions earn the favour of the Empereur himself, even though a storm begins to brew among the people.
